Davenport co-founded the Midtown Writers, a literary fiction and creative non-fiction writers group with her husband, Albert Davenport. The group, which uses the workshop method, meets every third Sunday of the month at the Midtown Scholar Bookstore in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
